Hello! My name is Lema and I am a 2nd year Biological Science major. I look forward to volunteering at upcoming screenings alongside Noor health community. During my free time, I like spending time with family/friends or a chill day watching movies.

Zayn is a first year student at UC Davis majoring in Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. He is particularly drawn to Noor Community Health’s mission of providing compassionate, culturally aware care to underserved populations. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and car photography.

This is Neama Othman and she is a second year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. Neama is looking forward to helping provide patients with preventative care and helping them throughout their healthcare journey. She is excited to be a part of the Noor community to bring affordable medical care to the underserved. A fun fact about Neama is that she has a first degree black belt in Karate.

Stephanie Corpus is a fourth year Biological Sciences student at UC Davis. She looks forward to working with fellow Noor members to connect with communities and foster compassionate, meaningful education and discussion on a range of topics. In her free time, she enjoys baking and learning American Sign Language.

Ria Manchanda is a first-year student majoring in anthropology. At Noor, she is eager to help underserved patients access healthcare in a culturally sensitive manner. Ria is excited to work with the community and increase their trust with healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, cooking, and watching movies/tv shows.

Aashish Gyara is a 3rd year Psychology major. He is looking forward to take the conceptual ideas of providing basic needs and and putting them into practice here at Noor Community Health. In his free time, he likes hangout with friends and play with his dogs. Fun fact, he can play 5 instruments!

Seharaab Baidwan is a third-year Human Biology student at UC Davis. She is excited to work with Noor Community Health to help provide culturally mindful and compassionate medical care to the South Asian community. In her free time, she enjoys working out and watching movies.

Maryam Omar is currently a second-year NPB major. She is interested and excited to be part of Noor’s mission in helping tackle health disparities and cultural barriers in our local underserved communities. Outside of that, she loves hiking, sightseeing and anything cat-related.

Ethan Medeiros is a third year Biochemistry major at UC Davis with a strong interest in genetics and research. He is excited to be part of Noor Community Health because of its mission to support underserved communities through healthcare, education, and advocacy. Ethan enjoys connecting with people and being part of a team that makes a positive impact in the community. In his free time, he loves playing pool, going on long walks, and surfing whenever he gets the chance.

Meryem is a second-year Managerial Economics major. She looks forward to spreading education surrounding medical care and health topics with Noor. In her free time, she enjoys baking and having picnics.

​Alain Peña-Garcia is a third year Biochemistry and Spanish major. He is looking forward to seeing how health initiatives grow into action in service to the community. During his free time, he enjoys going on walks with his dog and exercising.

Pravalika Balaji Vaishnavi is a fourth year Biological sciences major. She is excited to join Noor Clinic to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care while empowering patients through meaningful health education. She is passionate about advancing patient centered medicine through both direct care and innovative medical technologies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, trying new hobbies, and exploring new ideas in medical research.

Batul is a second-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major. At Noor, she is looking forward to making healthcare services more accessible, all while meeting members of our local community. In her free time she likes to play tennis and spend time in the arboretum.
