Founding President
Dua Hassan
Dua is a 4th year pre-medical student at UC Davis majoring in Human Biology. She loves watching the fruition of all the behind-the-scenes work when witnessing community members benefiting from Noor's services first hand. Outside of school, Dua loves to coach basketball, box, and read.

Founding Vice President
Carina Lopez
Carina Lopez is a fourth year undergraduate studying Molecular and Medical Microbiology. At Noor, she is looking forward to bringing awareness around different health issues to the public, and helping people navigate the healthcare world. A fun fact about Carina is that she enjoys watching the sunrise in the morning!

Secretary
Halah Elbeshity
Halah is a third year Pre-Medical student majoring Human Biology and pursuing a Psychology minor. She is excited to help develop Noor into a trusting service and resource hub for the community. She is striving to pursue a career in pediatrics with a neuroscience emphasis. Outside of her academics, Halah loves being surrounded by her family and friends. She also loves exercising, crocheting, painting, and watching movies/tv shows. Fun fact is her favorite movie is Man on Fire.

Treasurer
Zoha Tauseef
Zoha Tauseef is a third-year undergraduate student at UC Davis majoring in Cognitive Science with a neuroscience emphasis. She is looking forward to being part of Noor and values its focus on community, service, and cultural connection. Zoha is passionate about addressing health stigma and advocating for education, access, and culturally sensitive care within the South Asian community. In her free time, she enjoys baking and reading.

Screening Coordinator
Sangini Gatadi
Sangini is a third year Human Biology Major with a minor in Psychology. She is incredibly excited to serve the local South Asian community and help make health care more accessible. Outside of school, she enjoys trying new exercise classes and trying new foods with her friends.

Volunteer Coordinator
Zainab Khan
Zainab Khan is a first-year student studying Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology. She is excited to work with Noor Community Health to improve healthcare access for underserved South Asian populations and looks forward to supporting volunteers and community initiatives.

Marketing and Outreach Coordinator
Samar Idris
Samar Idris is a second-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major at UC Davis. She is excited to be part of Noor Community Health and looks forward to supporting outreach that connects students and local community members with accessible care. Originally from Southern California, she recently moved to the area and is eager to get more involved in Woodland. In her free time, she enjoys cross-stitching and making pottery.

Ashar Kazmi
Ashar is a third-year majoring in Cell Biology. He is looking forward to getting involved with Noor and supporting its mission of helping out underserved communities. In his free time, Ashar enjoys watching tons of different movies or tv shows.

Maryam is a third year student majoring in biological sciences. She looks forward to being a part of Noor's mission to make healthcare more accessible and welcoming for everyone. In her free time, Maryam likes to do art and take care of her plants.

Ammaarah Hussain
​Hi, I'm Ammaarah Hussain. I am a second year and I'm majoring in biomedical engineering. I love being part of the Noor community and getting to volunteer and serve the community through health screenings. I'm very passionate about health equity and making sure all underserved communities are getting the healthcare they need. One of my favorite hobbies is photography and I'm currently trying to improve at taking portraits!

​Salaam! My name is Madiha Rahmatullah, and I am a freshman at UC Davis exploring International Relations with a minor in Public Health. I am eager to gain hands-on experience in public health and nutrition while serving individuals facing healthcare inequalities.

​Hi! My name is Ratia Nagayi. I'm majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. During my free time I love dancing and cooking especially while learning new cultures! If I didn't have the plan of becoming a doctor, I'd be a chef! I joined Noor Community Clinic to learn how to advocate for the underserved communities to get more essentials for a proper healthcare plan!

This is Neama Othman and she is a second year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. Neama is looking forward to helping provide patients with preventative care and helping them throughout their healthcare journey. She is excited to be a part of the Noor community to bring affordable medical care to the underserved. A fun fact about Neama is that she has a first degree black belt in Karate.

Maryam Omar is currently a second-year NPB major. She is interested and excited to be part of Noor’s mission in helping tackle health disparities and cultural barriers in our local underserved communities. Outside of that, she loves hiking, sightseeing and anything cat-related.

Ethan Medeiros is a third year Biochemistry major at UC Davis with a strong interest in genetics and research. He is excited to be part of Noor Community Health because of its mission to support underserved communities through healthcare, education, and advocacy. Ethan enjoys connecting with people and being part of a team that makes a positive impact in the community. In his free time, he loves playing pool, going on long walks, and surfing whenever he gets the chance.

Pravalika Balaji Vaishnavi is a fourth year Biological sciences major. She is excited to join Noor Clinic to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care while empowering patients through meaningful health education. She is passionate about advancing patient centered medicine through both direct care and innovative medical technologies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, trying new hobbies, and exploring new ideas in medical research.

Batul Zanzi

Batul is a second-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major. At Noor, she is looking forward to making healthcare services more accessible, all while meeting members of our local community. In her free time she likes to play tennis and spend time in the arboretum.
